One company to give a complete miss. If you visiting Bowen Island, give this one a miss, if you want to avoid bad service, bad food and just a bad taste in your mouth.
The owners are abusive and do not support the local community. They hire french people and then expect the locals to come buy from them, go figure, if you they not prepared to give back, how can they expect us locals to support them.
They randomly fire people for no reason just because they can and do it in a very poor way.
Here is a reddit blog that almost went viral because of this very situation, they were cheating the employee out of payment and then turned around and fired them.
